Christina Coscia is a valued member of the Viva Laser Skin Clinic team and as a qualified hairdresser and makeup artist, she is highly recognised and regarded for her work across editorial, bridal and fashion industries. 

 

Leaving nothing to chance, her eye for detail has given her the skills to be at the cutting edge of both the hair and makeup industry and as a result, her passionate and driven work ethic has led her to be featured across a number of platforms—both on a local and national level.

 

Christina, who graduated as a ‘Master Make-Up Artist’ from the renowned Cameron Jane Make-Up Design academy, is seasoned in all avenues of make-up application—from bridal and avant-grade to SPFX. Specialising in bridal and events, Christina has worked for BridalExpo, on the One Fine Day Sydney show and with international freelance session stylist Petr Vackar, founder and owner of PV Hair and Makeup, on Eternal Bridal shoots.

Having also worked in advertising, her work for the Dyson Hair blow drier launch was featured on Channel 10 Eyewitness News and her commercial work has been published both online and in print. Christina simultaneously works with Sydney-based international photographer, videographer, retoucher editor and founder of Lita Magazine Hiedi Hannele as a hair stylist and consultant, while also assisting with beauty and fashion on editorial shoots for the publication.

 

As a makeup artist, she has had the pleasure of working with commercial photographers Ben Scott and Carlo Fernandes, as well as on fashion shoots for Australian brands including Bondi-based label Authority Clothing. Her passion for makeup design will continue to take her in extraordinary directions and we are nothing short of honoured to have her working with us here at Viva Laser Skin Clinic.

FAQ's

Do you travel?


Christina is completely mobile on your Wedding Day (group bookings of 4 or more only) and is more than happy to travel to the location of your choice, depending on the location a travel fee may apply. For all other bookings (trials and special occasion makeup) these take place at Viva Laser & Skin Clinic (213 Concord Rd, North Strathfield, 2137)




How far in advance do you recommend me booking and how do I go about booking?


As soon as you have decided you want Christina as your Makeup Artist, then it is recommended that you contact via email on christinacoscia@outlook.com. There is a direct email response to Christina.




Do I need to make a deposit?


A Non-refundable booking fee (non-refundable deposit) is required for any group bookings of 4 or more. A 50% deposit is required. The remaining payment must be paid on the day of the booking. Payments made on the date of the event will only be accepted in the form of cash; personal cheques are not accepted nor are credit cards. Payments made via any other method are to be paid in full no less than 1 week prior to the event.




Can I supply my own false lashes/ makeup products/ tools?


No, due to health and hygiene reasons, Christina will only use and apply lashes and makeup tools that she has supplied.




Why do I need so many visits?


Normally 6‐12 treatments 4‐6 weeks apart are required some clients may need more. The hair needs to be targeted in its anagen or growth stage to be effectively destroyed. Only about 20% of body hair is in the anagen stage at one time. Over time hair follicles can sometimes repair or dormant follicles can be activated and maintenance treatments may occasionally be needed.




Do I need to book a trial?


It is highly recommended that you book a trial. The reason for a trial is to discuss with Christina what you are wanting to achieve with your look, making the wedding day a lot less stressful. Trials can be done months in advance or 2-3 weeks prior to your big day.
Generally only Brides book in for a trial, however at a cost other members of the Bridal party are also welcome to have trials if needed. Please list in the email link above; occasion, date, time, how many people and location and any allergies. If it is a single booking date, time, occasion and any allergies




Terms & Conditions

By using this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you have any queries relating to these terms and conditions, please email christinacoscia@outlook.com. From time to time, changes may be made to these terms without notice to you. Payment Options Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry accepts Cash and Direct Deposit only (An email can be sent with these details upon request). The balance must be paid either on or prior to the booking date. Payments made on the date of the event will only be accepted in the form of cash; personal cheques are not accepted nor are credit cards. Payments made via any other method is to be paid in full no less than 1 week prior to the event. If the remaining balance is being paid by cash on the day it is required that the balance is placed in an envelope and provided to Christina at the beginning of the booking.
Christina does not carry change. Deposits A Deposit for any service by Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry is non-refundable and is required when a bridal booking is made. Until Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry receives the deposit, the date is still available for someone else to book. Once the deposit is paid, your date and time is locked in and cannot be changed unless Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry and you have both agreed to do so. A 50% deposit is required. Remaining payment must be paid on the day of booking. Non-refundable Deposits This means Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry will not be able to refund your deposits once it is paid and booking locked in as she will assume you are 100% happy with the trial/service. This also means Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry cannot change your booking without notice and you cannot cancel without notice. However, Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry does understand death in the family could arise without notice. Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry will hold your deposit and with as much notice you can give her she will try to transfer your appointment to another date, provided Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry are not booked out, but she will try her absolute best to accommodate you. Cancellation Should you cancel your service the non-refundable booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. This means it cannot be transferred to another person, service or date. If Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry cancels at any time or unable to perform her duties for any reason the deposit paid will be fully refunded. Price List Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry may update their price list without notice to you. However, if you have an existing booking, these prices will not affect you, including weddings that have been pre-booked and deposits paid with the old price list. Travel cost (Travel is only available for group bookings of 4 or more)
Travel fees may be applied, these are calculated and supplied in your quote, these are required to be paid should you book Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry services. Allergies or reactions to products Christina Coscia Makeup Artistry will not be held responsible for any reactions to the makeup/products applied to a client's face. It is the client's responsibility to notify Christina of any allergies to products or sensitive skin on either themselves or any other persons covered under the clients booking; the client is the person who paid the non-refundable fee. Health and Hygiene Due to health and hygiene Christina is unable to use any other persons makeup products or tools, which also includes false lashes Christina is only able to apply false lashes supplied by herself.
Before and After photos Only if a client gives permission will a before and after picture is taken, these images will be used on our website and social media pages this will also include Viva Laser & Skin Clinic. Meaning if you give the approval to pose for a picture you are allowing Christina and Viva rights to use the image.
It is the responsibility of the client to make sure those covered under the booking are aware of the above terms and conditions.
