Dermapen treatments designed to create a safe healing response within the body to ignite natural collagen and elastin production from within the skin, without harsh side effects and downtime, along with repairing the surface layers to result in healthier skin; looking brighter, tighter, more even-toned, refined pores and reduced wrinkles.
Your face, lip area, eye area, ears, neck, chest, hands and scalp are all treated with pinpoint precision to promote rapid lifting, firming and toning of facial features and contours.
What’s more, the microchannels allow your skin to carry up to 80% more active ingredients which dive deep into your skin to feed and be absorbed by the underlying cells.
You'll see results in just one session.
Dermapen 4 is the only micro-needling device with a dedicated scar setting and protocols for revision of deep, atrophic scars; including surgical, burn contracture, striae and post-acne scars. Needle penetration can now be increased up to 3.0mm. AOVN technology, automatically calibrates the motor speed, pressure and penetration for targeted precision. No dragging. No pulling of the skin.
A popular Dermapen Scar Treatment is for the treatment of Stretch Marks, both old and new. Both practitioners and patients have found Dermapen treatments to be more effective for stretch marks than any laser treatments.
Dermapen Scarring Treatments may include: atrophic scars; including surgical, burn contracture, stretch marks/striae and post-acne scars.
Unlike some Laser treatments, Dermapen removes the risk of heat injury and hypopigmentation risks, whilst promoting optimised cell function. This makes it a suitable procedure for any patient affected by melasma and with a predisposition to hyperpigmentation.
Treatment is also suitable for all Fitzpatrick Skin Types and ethnicities. Dermapen treatments have also been found to be effective in Hypopigmentation Vitiligo treatments. Clinically Dermapen treatments work in four ways to reverse the production of hyperpigmentation and melasma.
Dermapen treatments can be effective for a multitude of conditions including Rosacea, telangiectasia, seborrheic dermatitis, aesthetic gynaecology, alopecia, and much more.
WHAT ARE DERMAPEN TREATMENTS?
Dermapen 4 is the breakthrough of the decade utilizing the most advanced needle cartridge innovation to vertically pierce the skin. Dermapen 4 glides over the skin creating millions of fine fractional channels up to 104% faster than other micro-needling devices.
These channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients deeper into the skin. In turn, our body's natural response triggers a natural process of repair. The result is an increased production of collagen and elastin, resurfacing, retexturizing and overall skin renewal anywhere on the body, from hard to reach areas such as around the eyes, eyelids, earlobes, neck, lips, nose or larger areas of the neck and décolleté, stomach and legs for stretch mark treatments.
Dermapen 4 is the most advanced micro-needling device available. Dermapen 4 treatments are faster, safer and produce optimal results.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR REJUVENATION, ACNE SCARRING AND STRETCH MARKS? (General guide)
- Rejuvenation: 3-6 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart
- Acne scarring: 4-6 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart
- Stretch marks: 4-8 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart
- Pigmentation: 4-6 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY SKIN FOR DERMAPEN™ TREATMENT?
For optimal results, an appropriate regime of DP Dermaceuticals™ should be determined by your clinician to encourage the skin to strengthen (especially for thin or delicate skin areas).
Continue to use DP Dermaceuticals™ recommended by your clinician after the treatments for a period of 6 weeks. The DP Dermaceuticals™ range is suitable for ongoing home care.
HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 4 to 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart).
The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Traditional dermal rolling techniques proved to be a bloody and painful treatment, requiring the application of topical anaesthetic cream (TLA) before treatments. A progression was seen with Dermapen 3 which caused less epidermal (skin) damage, and reduced levels of pain and discomfort for safer, more effective micro-needling treatments.
Today with Dermapen 4 there is no comparison - this is the most comfortable, virtually pain-free micro-needling treatment available.
'IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER TREATMENT?
Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.
Application of Dp Dermaceuticals Cover Recover will seal and heal the skin and cover any redness for an immediate return to work.
HOW SOON AFTER FILLER/MUSCLE RELAXANT INJECTIONS CAN I HAVE A DERMAPEN™ TREATMENT?
While there is no clinical evidence that Dermapen™ Treatments counteract with any particular injectables, it is important to let your clinician know if you have had an injectable treatment, or are planning on having one done in the near future.
Your clinician will be able to advise you on when to schedule your treatment appropriately.
